Brittany Ferries Plymouth Santander Mini Cruise Itinerary

As with all the Mini Cruises on offer from Ferry Price you can choose to take the traditional itinerary spending a few hours at Santander or choose to stay for longer, taking the second stint of your mini cruise and returning home at a later date.

If taking the traditional itinerary and departing on the same day as arrival your itinerary will be as follows;

Day 1 - Depart Plymouth

Check In: Arrive at port and check in. Check in closes 45 Minutes prior to departure - Check in at the Brittany Ferries Passenger ferry terminal at Plymouth.

Departure: Depart Plymouth - Vessel sets off for Santander for your 20 hour cruise to the port of Santander in Spain.

Day 2 - Arrival in Santander

Arrival: Arrive in Santander - If you have your car drive around at your leisure and enjoy this fabulous Spanish city. If you have traveled as a foot passenger make use of the fantastic public transport facilities available to you. Spend up to 5 hours in Santander before returning to port for the journey back to Plymouth

Departure: Depart Santander - Ship departs Santander port for return cruise back to Plymouth where you can once again enjoy the vessel's wide range of facilities and services.

Day 3 - Return Back to Plymouth

9:00am: Arrive back at Plymouth following the mini cruise from Santander

When it comes to standards and facilities the Pont-Aven is the leading European Cruise Ferry. The vessel, launched in 2004, is Brittany Ferries £100m flagship ferry and has set new standards in ferry travel.

The Pont Aven Cruise ferry boasts facilities, decor and service more commonly associated with full Cruise Ships. Special features included a swimming pool and leisure area, a dramatic five deck high atrium with panoramic views from the glass lifts, and a number of fantastic restaurants, bars and outlets.

On board you will find a choice of restaurants and cafes. These include the main Le Flora Restaurant, La Belle Angele self service Restaurant and Le Café du Festival coffee bar . Wherever you choose to dine you will be greeted with superb service and wonderful cuisine and lighter snacks.

For refreshments try one of the many onboard bars. Choose from the main Le Grand Pavois Bar, the contemporary Le Fastnet piano & cocktail bar or the Pool Bar which is the perfect place to meet friends and enjoy the views of the ocean around you.

For entertainment, check out the games room and slot machines, catch a a movie in one of the 2 cinemas or simply take a dip in the pool or work out in the fitness centre.

MV Pont-Aven was built at Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany and has been sailing for Brittany Ferries since March 2004. She is the current Brittany Ferries flagship. Prior to being named the Pont-Aven was referred to as Bretagne 2, this is now the codename for the new Brittany Ferries vessel for Plymouth–Roscoff.

The Brittany Ferries MV Pont Aven holds a maximum of 2,400 passengers and 650 cars. There are 652 cabins and 47 reclining seats for those not wishing to stay in a cabin.
