Brittany Ferries Mini Cruise Vessel Information
When it comes to standards and facilities the Pont-Aven is the leading European Cruise Ferry. The vessel, launched in 2004, is Brittany Ferries £100m flagship ferry and has set new standards in ferry travel.
The Pont Aven Cruise ferry boasts facilities, decor and service more commonly associated with full Cruise Ships. Special features included a swimming pool and leisure area, a dramatic five deck high atrium with panoramic views from the glass lifts, and a number of fantastic restaurants, bars and outlets.
On board you will find a choice of restaurants and cafes. These include the main Le Flora Restaurant, La Belle Angele self service Restaurant and Le Café du Festival coffee bar . Wherever you choose to dine you will be greeted with superb service and wonderful cuisine and lighter snacks.
For refreshments try one of the many onboard bars. Choose from the main Le Grand Pavois Bar, the contemporary Le Fastnet piano & cocktail bar or the Pool Bar which is the perfect place to meet friends and enjoy the views of the ocean around you.
For entertainment, check out the games room and slot machines, catch a a movie in one of the 2 cinemas or simply take a dip in the pool or work out in the fitness centre.
About the Brittany Ferries MV Pont Aven
MV Pont-Aven was built at Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany and has been sailing for Brittany Ferries since March 2004. She is the current Brittany Ferries flagship. Prior to being named the Pont-Aven was referred to as Bretagne 2, this is now the codename for the new Brittany Ferries vessel for Plymouth–Roscoff.
The Brittany Ferries MV Pont Aven holds a maximum of 2,400 passengers and 650 cars. There are 652 cabins and 47 reclining seats for those not wishing to stay in a cabin. |
