Further Information on TT-Line Ferry Services
TT Line operates six ships from Travemünde and Rostock in Germany to Trelleborg and Helsingborg in Sweden. On the long-established Travemünde-Trelleborg route. Four of the vessels are modern ferries Nils Holgerson, Peter Pan, Robin Hood and Nils Dake, with the last two being combi carriers.
All four ships are powered by diesel-electric drive, which is very environmentally friendly. The route between Rostock and Trelleborg, which TT-Line has been operating since 1992, is served by two comfortable ro-ro ferries Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.
The commissioning of the newly-built Green Ships Nils Holgerson and Peter Pan in 2001 and the implementation of TT Line's ‘Green Bridge Concept’ in 2008 are further evidence of TT-Line's orientation towards environmentally friendly ship operation and propulsion. The Lübeck-based shipping company has received a number of awards for its consistent environmental commitment.
