Part of the P&O Irish Sea Ferry Fleet European Highlander

European Highlander was built in 2002 by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries located in Shimonoeki, Japan for P&O Irish Sea Ferries and has operated for them ever since between Larne and Cairnryan.

The European Causeway, has a capacity for 410 passengers, 375 cars and 107 trailers. European Highlander has been an overwhelming success for the company on the route along with her sister vessel, European Causeway.
