Golfo Aranci Port Ferry Overview
Golfo Aranci is a commune in the Province of Olbia-Tempio in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 200 km north of Cagliari and about 13 km northeast of Olbia. Once known as Figari, the current town grew up in the mid-18th century as a fishing port. In the early 19th century a Royal Decree made it the main port for the arrivals from the mainland, contributing to its population growth.
The port is located at the edge of the small, coastal town of Golfo Aranci located just a short distance from Olbia. The area is a popular tourist destination in its own right, having a host beautiful beaches attracting tourists all year round.
