Rabac Port Ferry Overview
Rabac is a Croatian village in Istria, is a large resort town on Kvarner Bay, just 3 miles southeast of Labin. Long a small fishing port of just three dozen homes, Rabac has grown in recent years into a resort town with numerous villas and apartment buildings. Rabac is home of an annual electronic music festival that has been held there for many years.
Rabac is on a sheltered cove with a pebble beach. It was once a small fishermen's village but now it swells with hotels, camping grounds and private accommodation that can hold up to 10,000 tourists at a time. Rabac boasts beautiful beaches and fantastic recreational facilities with many holiday makers taking up one of the many boat excursions that are on offer year round. Rabac is noted for it's fantastic cuisine and despite it's quiet location Rabac offers a fantastic choice of restaurants and bars as well as a few nightclubs.
Venezia Lines runs a weekly ferry service from Rabac's small port direct to Venice in Italy. Rabac ferry terminal is small but due to it's location there is a wide selection of cafe's restaurants, bars and shops within a short walk along the bay. |
