SNAV (Societa Navigazione Alta Velocita) was originally formed by the Italian hydrofoil builders Rodriguez, but is now a part of MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company). The SNAV fleet comprises of Passenger Catamarans, Conventional ferries and car carrying catamarans.
SNAV ferry services main routes depart directly from the major Italian ferry ports including Ancona, Naples Civitavecchia (Rome) and Pescara. SNAV also run popular Greek routes from Brindisi to Corfu and Paxi.

SNAV Routes
SNAV goes to the most exclusive spring and summer tourist resorts. Its cruise ferries sail from Civitavecchia to Sardinia (Olbia) and Sicily (Palermo) from April to September. From June to September its High Speed Craft sail from Brindisi to Greece (Corfu and Paxos), from Ancona to Split, and from Pescara to Hvar and Split in Croatia. The high speed boats that cross the Adriatic connecttions Pescara and Ancona with Croatia offer even more: they are equipped for the transport of cars, coaches, motorcycles, campervans, and boats on wheeled carriages, like all the cruise ferries but but they’re faster.

SNAV Lazio and SNAV Sardegna
The company’s two new, elegant cruise ferries, with all cabins equipped with private bathrooms and also with wedding suites; 180 metres in length and 25 metres wide, in service in both directions on the Civitavecchia – Palermo and Civitavecchia – Olbia routes. Both boats have all services on board.
SNAV Orion
Launched in May 2005, this is the largest high speed single-hull craft only for passenger transport. Built in the Marinteknik boatyards in Singapore, entirely of aluminium, 50 metres long and with a capacity of 700 passengers, with no less than 4 engines, it has a cruising speed of 38 knots. The boat has a snack-bar cafeteria service on board.
Croazia Jet
The Croazia Jet is one of SNAV'S extra-fast boats. Built in 1996, with a gross tonnage of 3,012 tons for 74 metres length and 26 metres width, it travels at 37 knots fully loaded and can transport 100 cars and 500 passengers. The on board services include: self-service restaurant, snack bar cafeteria, shopping area, cinema, reception service.
Catamarans
SNAV has 12 catamarans operating in the Gulf of Naples and the Adriatic, offering only passenger transport. All Snav catamarans have snack bar and cafeteria services on board.
Don Francesco
A new High Speed Craft, 60 metres long and 16.5 metres wide, with a capacity of 670 passengers and 60 cars, or alternatively coaches and commercial vehicles, in service in the Gulf of Naples on the Aeolian Islands route. The boat has an on board snack-bar cafeteria service, as well as an exclusive VIP CLASS service with lunch included.
SNAV Campania and SNAV Sicilia
The twin craft Snav Campania and Snav Sicilia are the two traditional boats of the Snav fleet, each with a gross tonnage of 29,916 tons for 173.3 metres in length and 25.2 metres in width. Both are in service on the Naples - Palermo route and have all services on board .
Pescara Jet
Pescara Jet is a High Speed Craft. Built in 1991 in the INCAT boatyards, 74 metres long and 26 metres wide, it moves at 40 knots fully loaded and can transport 100 cars and 600 passengers. The on board services include: self-service restaurant, snack bar cafeteria, shopping area, cinema, reception service.
Hydrofoils
55 SNAV hydrofoils operate in the Gulf of Naples and the Adriatic, only for passenger transport. They are RHS200, RHS160 and RHS150. All SNAV craft are regularly certified for navigation in national and international waters. All Snav hydrofoils have snack bar cafeteria services on board.
