Cruise Roma is a cruiseferry owned by Grimaldi Ferries. She was built and launched in 2007 at the shipyards of Castellammare di Stabia. The Cruise Roma is the first of 4 sister ships built specifically for Grimaldi Line's Mediterranean routes and is one of the biggest cruiseferries with car carrying capacity in the world. Grimaldi Lines' Cruise Roma is capable of carrying 215 cars and 2300 passengers and is equipped with 460 cabins which includes 60 suites. Other facilities onboard the vessel include a restaurant, casino, internet cafe, supermarket, sauna, swimming pool, tanning center, disco, boutique and piano bar. The Cruise Roma along with her sister vessel Cruise Barcelona came into service between Civitavecchia and Barcelona back in 2008.
