Celtic Link, established in 2005, operate 2 ferry routes to Cherbourg in France for both freight and passengers. The new daily service operates from Portsmouth and there is also a crossing from Rosslare in Ireland which operates 3 times a week. Services are operated onboard the new vessel chartered from LD Lines, Norman Voyager and Celtic Link's own vessel, the Diplomat.

Norman Voyager - The Norman Voyager, chartered to Celtic Link Ferries from LD Lines, is designed to carry up to 800 passengers in 110 cabins and reclining seats. as well as large amounts of freight and vehicle capacity. Onboard there is a bar, restaurant, cinema, Wifi area and comfortable lounges to relax in during the crossing.
The Diplomat - One of 11 vessels in the Stena Searunner series, the vessel spent her early life in service with Finnlines and Atlanticargo. She joined P&O in 1980 sailing between Felixstowe and Europoort as the Baltic Ferry. Following service with the Falklands Task Force, she was rebuilt to carry 600 passengers from Felixstowe and Zeebrugge, and renamed the Pride of Suffolk in 1992. The extra passenger accomidation was removed when the Zeebrugge route closed in 1995 and she returned to the Europort service as a freight ship untill 2001, when she was renmaed the European Dipolmat and moved to the Irish Sea. In 2001 she took over P&O's Dublin-Liverpool run, and was switched to Rosslare for a trice weekly service to Cherbourg. She was brought by Cletic Link Ferries in 2004 to continue the route, and renamed Diplomat.

The Main Continental Ferry Terminal offers many services and facilities to ferry passengers. Refreshments are available in the Cafe or Bar as well as the onsite shop. There is also a Cash Point, Bureau de Change, Wash Rooms with baby care facilities, and payphones. A Shell Petrol Station with shop is located near the entrance of the Continental Ferry Terminal. The Continental terminal also has an Information Desk and a left luggage facility.
The Port of Rosslare, or Rosslare-Europort is the port in southern Ireland closest to the UK and European mainland. All the major roll-on roll-off passenger and freight services operate from Rosslare-Europort on the southern Irish Sea and Continental ferry routes.
Rosslare-Europort has four main berths to accommodate ferries. The port handles 1.25 million passengers, 320,000 passenger vehicles, 108,000 freight units and 57,000 trade cars, following major refurbishment works the previous year. A vehicle traffic system was developed, the passenger information system improved and storage areas for freight and trade vehicles expanded.
Rosslare-Europort provides, at the passenger terminal, a children’s play area, baby changing facilities, car rental, shops, bureau de change, a department of agriculture and immigration facilities. Bus Eireann coaches operates transfers around the road network of Ireland from Rosslare Harbour.
The Port of Cherbourg, is situated at the Northern tip of the Cherbourg Peninsula, in an area of France known as Haute Normande. Cherbourg is located in a very protected harbour with no less than two long breakwaters. Besides being an attractive harbour, Cherbourg is also a transatlantic seaport, a major naval base, a fishing centre and has a large marina. It is also a manufacturing centre.
