LD Lines’ brand new high speed ferry, Norman Arrow, is become the largest ever fast ferry to operate on the cross channe between England and France and the first-ever freight carrying high speed vessel across the Dover Straits. Norman Arrow is famous for being the world’s largest diesel-powered catamaran. The Norman Arrow operates four return sailings daily between Dover and Boulogne. The introduction of the new vessel will mean LD Lines Dover-Boulogne service frequency has increased from the current two return sailings daily to six. All types of tourist traffic will be carried including cars, caravans, motorhomes, motorcycles, coaches and foot passengers, in addition to freight, all passenger services are avialble to book online at Ferry Price. Norman Arrow operates at speeds of 40 knots providing a shortened crossing time of just one hour. The vessel boasts capacity for 1,200 passengers, 417 cars or combination of 195 cars and up to 30 freight vehicles.
