In 2003 the Norbank along with her sister were transferred to the P&O Irish Sea route between Liverpool and Dublin. The vessels had previously been updated and painted in the P&O livery. The reason behind the transfer to the new route was due to the introduction of the new Superferries, Pride of Hull and Pride of Rotterdam on the Hull to Rotterdam service.
The Norbank has a passenger capacity is 114. The reason for the low passenger number is because most of Norbank's space is used up for freight services. Despite the small capacity the vessel offers passengers the use of a comfortable lounge with flat screen tvs, a restaurant and bar and a shop. |
